You will report to an engineering leader on our Content Safety Team.

  • Build high-scale systems to detect and address problematic content on Roblox.
  • Develop new detection approaches in a rapidly evolving landscape. Build backend pipelines for new detection signals and make ML model improvements, working closely with ML engineers on the team.

  • Help define the team's roadmap and technical foundations towards keeping users on Roblox safe
  • Partner with Moderation Operations, PM, Data, and stakeholders across Roblox.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping large-scale services to production
  • 5+ years of experience working on multi-person codebases, including open-source or personal projects
  • Passion for delivering products end-to-end, from ideation through implementation, while being empathetic with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • You are comfortable with several languages and technologies already; you are adaptable in any situation. You are resourceful, and take a creative and strategic approach to solving hard problems.
  • Excited to investigate large, ambiguous problems, and quantify the problems and the solutions.
