We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Recruiting Project Specialist to own key work streams that support our Global Recruiting team and help accelerate hiring efforts.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Senior Recruiting Project Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing key operational functions within the Recruiting Operations team.  This person will execute key operational processes; they will also work closely with the broader Recruiting Strategy & Operations (RSO) organization to deliver projects and programs that increase efficiency and consistency, create or refine processes, manage knowledge and help us become a more process & data-driven team. You will work closely with Recruiting Operations team members, Recruiting Coordination, Recruiting leadership and business stakeholders. Your work will be instrumental in creating a structured and efficient recruiting function that aligns with Airbnb’s hiring goals.

A Typical Day: 

  • Interviewer Onboarding & Management: Own and manage technical interviewer onboarding, ensuring we have the right interviewer resources to support hiring demands. Provide support and guidance to new interviewers to ensure a high-quality interview process.
  • Process Improvement: Drive key process improvements emerging from the Engineering Recruiting Committee, including scorecard updates, interviewer engagement efforts, and refining interview workflows.
  • Global Referral Program Ownership: Manage the end-to-end process for all referrals globally, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and a positive experience for both referrers and referred candidates.
  • Operational Support for Recruiting Teams: Provide operational support to the Product Recruiting team, ensuring processes are optimized to meet hiring goals and improve recruiter efficiency.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Track and report on key recruiting metrics, ensuring data accuracy and supporting decision-making with insights on interviewer engagement and referral program performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Recruiting Strategy & Operations (RSO) leadership, recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of recruiting programs.

Your Expertise:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Recruiting Operations role, with a strong understanding of recruiting functions and workflows.
  • 1+ year of experience creating and implementing programs from end to end.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for enhancing the candidate and employee experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while driving results independently.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
