This role is pivotal in expanding our services arm, which supports customers and partners by delivering engineering projects using AFT software. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for business development. You will own the full project lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and scoping projects to execution and delivery—helping us drive services revenue and build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project proposals, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
  • Execute consulting projects, including technical analysis, system configuration, and customized deliverables tailored to customer requirements.
  • Maintain clear, regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment, progress updates, and satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for follow-up projects or additional services to deepen customer relationships.
  • Drive business development efforts to build a robust pipeline of consulting projects, actively contributing to the growth of our services revenue.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to improve our software and service offerings.
  • Mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (chemical engineering preferred).
  • Proficiency in at least one of the AFT products (Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, or xStream), an ability to become proficient in all four, and experience solving industrial modeling challenges.
  • 5+ years as a project engineer, with a history of managing billable hours (1,700–1,800 annually).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with customer support tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and project management software.
  • Passionate about providing outstanding service and building long-term customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • P.E. License
  • Experience with pipe stress modeling in CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, or similar.

This role is remote with a preference for candidates in Denver or Colorado Springs.
