The Partnership Operations team at Roblox plays a critical role in building the future of advertising. As a Senior Program Manager, Ads you will play a crucial role in empowering Roblox developers to unlock new revenue streams and grow their businesses sustainably through ad enablement. You will be the bridge between our developers and our advertising products, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing the potential of in-experience advertising on the Roblox platform.

You will report to VP of Operations, Partnerships and based in our San Mateo, CA office 

You Will:

  • Champion Developer Success: Become a trusted advisor for Roblox developers, guiding them on best practices for implementing ad solutions that enhance the player experience and drive revenue.
  • Build and Nurture Community: Foster a thriving community of developers through dedicated communication channels, providing support, gathering feedback, and sharing insights on industry trends and ad monetization strategies.
  • Drive Program Development: Design and execute programs that accelerate the adoption of new ad products, including educational initiatives, workshops, and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to identify developer needs, influence product roadmaps, and ensure successful implementation of ad solutions.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve ad performance and developer satisfaction.
  • Be the Voice of the Developer: Advocate for developer needs and perspectives, providing valuable feedback to internal teams to shape the future of advertising on Roblox.

You Have: 

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical program management role, ideally within the gaming or advertising industry.
  • A deep understanding of game mechanics, game loops, and game engine technology, with a particular interest in rewarded ad implementations and their impact on player engagement.
  • Experience building and managing online communities, with a knack for fostering engagement and providing exceptional support.
  • Strong technical knowledge, enabling you to translate complex concepts into clear and concise guidance for developers.
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to track key metrics, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$198,370$236,250 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
