Job Overview:

The Senior Product Owner role supports the CRM platform as a key member of the product team and is responsible for delivering strategies and processes that enable our business stakeholder’s performance. This role will be responsible for designing, delivering, and monitoring new functionality to the product that leads to value for the business user. This person would work directly with the development team and technical architect to deliver on our promise and contribute to the roadmap by iterating on requirements from business stakeholders. They partner with senior members of the team ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce.com implementation and are key communicators with business leadership and IT partners. They should have solid functional and/or industry knowledge (especially of CRMs), background in planning and managing projects, an ability to be proactive, innovative, and team-oriented in a virtual setting, and drive key deliverables and creative design concepts.

Responsibilities:

Our Senior Product Owner for the CRM platform plays a pivotal role in product development, ensuring alignment between business goals/strategy and user needs.

  • Vision and Strategy: Defining the product vision and roadmap to guide development efforts.

  • Leverage your deep understanding of sales processes to design intuitive, user-friendly workflows within the Salesforce CRM. Drive innovation by proposing new features that enhance sales efficiency and customer interactions.

  • User Experience: Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve product features and user satisfaction.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and stakeholders on product functionalities and updates.

  • Data Analytics: Analyze Salesforce / CRM product performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Reporting: Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management; troubleshoot problems as necessary

  • Define and prioritize feature development, enhancements, and integrations based on a keen understanding of market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.

  • Lead an agile development team through the entire product development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and continuous improvement

  • Market Analysis: Understand the competition of the firm and technology stack

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 4 plus years of progressive experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on designing and managing Salesforce CRM solutions full customer lifecycle teams

Core Competencies:

  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience on a CRM implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Expertise in Agile project methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

Preferences:

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • Salesforce (or other CRM) certification

  • Previous Salesforce.com experience


 

Pay Range:

$93,500-$155,800/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
