Summary
Loom is Atlassian's offering for quick, async video updates. Loom brings video messaging to work and empowers everyone to communicate more effectively, wherever they are. As one of the newest products in the Atlassian family, we are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to partner with teams across Product, Growth, Performance Marketing, Customer Lifecycle Marketing, and more to help existing Atlassian users understand the value of Loom. This PMM will develop new positioning, partner to create net-new signup and adoption programs, and bring a creative and resonant value proposition to the market.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on Growth, you will help shape the adoption of Loom within the Atlassian portfolio. This includes the messaging and positioning of Loom to existing Jira and Confluence users, Atlassian's two biggest business lines. You will identify the ideal buyer and user personas, their core jobs to be done, as well as stay on top of market and competitive analysis. You will partner with demand generation teams to optimize the signup funnel and the post-signup onboarding journey. You will create essential content needed to sell the value of Loom to existing Atlassian customers who already use Jira and Confluence.
What you'll do
- Deeply understand the personas and use cases of our portfolio of Atlassian products and create content that communicates that value to prospects
- Develop world-class positioning influenced by market trends, customer feedback, and competitive differentiation
- Partner with demand gen teams to shape strategy for and run awareness and cross-sell campaigns
- Work with customer lifecycle marketing to build a seamless customer journey activation and onboarding
- Propose, test, and implement improvements to our marketing messages, promotions, pricing & packaging, and channels to increase signups
- Drive go-to-market launches for new Atlassian integrations between our products and work closely with the product team to influence the roadmap
Your background
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing (subset of time in either product management or growth role OK)
- Experience in positioning solutions and bundles in a portfolio company, selling multiple products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills resulting in exceptional positioning, messaging, and storytelling
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Never-ending market, customer, and product curiosity
- Strong interpersonal and influence skills with colleagues, customers, and partners
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
