We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.

AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration. Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working. Travel could be part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you’ll do

As the Senior Product Manager at AlixPartners, your primary responsibility is to steer the strategic direction and oversee the execution of product initiatives that provide value to both our internal practitioners and clients. This role requires a deep sense of ownership and a commitment to a user-centric approach to drive products through their entire lifecycle.

To excel in this role, you need to build a solid understanding of our firm’s operational dynamics, industry trends, and user behaviors. This knowledge is crucial for achieving and improving product-market fit and accelerating the growth and adoption of our products. You must also build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure that product decisions are aligned with the firm’s broader strategic objectives.

Your role demands adaptability and flexibility to pivot when necessary to respond to evolving product demands. Additionally, you will explore opportunities to commercialize our products through potential Enterprise SaaS offerings, aiming to monetize our innovations, extend our firm’s differentiation and market reach, and enhance client engagement.

This description is not designed to encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties, or responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Leadership: Develop and execute product strategies that emphasize impactful business outcomes while delighting users. Lead the product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through to adoption.

  • Roadmap Planning & Execution: Prioritize product initiatives based on their value, complexity, and strategic importance and develop comprehensive product roadmaps that clearly outline the vision, direction, and phases for each product initiative.

  • Product Management: Oversee the end-to-end development process, gathering requirements, managing sprints, grooming backlogs, and handling release schedules and communication initiatives. Track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and balance priorities to keep initiatives on track. Focus on growth and adoption rather than merely executing predefined tasks.

  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business product owners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on needs, product goals, and product decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a champion for the product, promoting its benefits and aligning team and stakeholder efforts towards common goals. Foster strong collaboration and act as a crucial link between engineering, design, QA, legal, corporate IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of outcomes and priorities.

  • Metrics and Performance: Define and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track product usage, adoption, and effectiveness towards achieving growth objectives.

  • Commercial Orientation: Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with business stakeholders to unlock and maximize revenue potential.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of feedback and continuous learning, at scale, to refine product features and enhance user satisfaction.

  • Technology and Innovation: Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies, improved processes, and best practices to keep the firm at the forefront of industry advancements. Explore innovative solutions, including AI and ML technologies, to enhance product capabilities.

What you’ll need

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant Product Management experience.

  • Proven leadership skills and track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills, specifically in product analytics.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Plus: 2+ years of related consulting experience in a professional services firm environment.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave and twelve holidays.

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $160,000/year - $310,000 range/year with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

This job post will remain open until March 31, 2025.
