As the Senior Product Manager for Social Graph growth at Roblox Corporation, you will be responsible for empowering Roblox users to discover, search for, invite, and connect with their real-life friends and interests on Roblox. You will drive company-level objectives for friending growth and user retention.

This role is based at Roblox HQ in San Mateo, CA (no remote option).

You will:

  • Build a well-defined vision, strategy, goals, and path to grow the Roblox social graph.
  • Work closely with teams across data science, engineering, and various departments to identify and prioritize opportunities aimed at enhancing our users' ability to find and connect with their friends and interests.
  • Collaborate with design to define a thoughtful and well-crafted journey for users to connect and enjoy Roblox with friends.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in gaming and social products to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with various organizations and leaders to develop and implement a social graph strategy, while ensuring clear communication of product updates, goals, and priorities to relevant parties.

You have:

  • 5+ years of product manager experience with expertise in building & growing social products such as friending/following systems, friend recommendations, and people search.
  • Expertise working closely with data to opportunity size and prioritize opportunities, experiment and learn, and quickly iterate.
  • The capacity to collaborate with various organizations, bringing together different groups towards a shared objective, including executive leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy, to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful features.
  • Experience working on search and/or discovery products, including products involving machine learning, recommendation models, ranking, and signal building.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$220,110$269,640 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
