Please note that this role is in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

We're excited to have a packed and lively office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Twice a week those of us in the Bay Area come to our office located in the Financial District for All Hands, intense collaboration, brainstorming activities, and fun events. There are small rooms for 1-1 mentoring sessions or heads down work, and larger rooms for team activities. We continue to support a flexible work environment for all of life’s surprises and needs with generous time off and flexible daily work schedules.


The Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager (Sr PM) to lead our Pricing & Churn team. This team is responsible for 100% of our revenue growth initiatives, including global pricing work, payment infrastructure and testing, reactivating churned users, and optimizing checkout experiences. The role spikes heavily on analytical rigor and on developing solutions that optimize revenue internationally, as a substantial part of our revenue comes from markets outside the US (though the US is our single largest market).

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, define, and prioritize the product roadmap for the Pricing & Churn team
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and data
  • Ideate and oversee the development, planning, and design of new features and techniques from concept to market
  • Utilize product metrics to guide decision-making and evaluate success
  • Craft product requirements for MVPs and feature enhancements
  • Contribute to the overarching product strategy
  • Drive business impact; help us attract and retain our users!

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2C online product management experience
  • Proven expertise in working on B2C products serving millions of users
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • A previous stint working in monetization-related growth work (pricing, payments, subscriptions, product marketing through checkout, churn reactivation)
  • Technical understanding and ability to engage in high-level technical discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to make a significant business impact
  • Customer-centric approach with a knack for data-driven validation
  • Extensive experience with A/B testing
  • Startup experience is essential

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Edtech or Academia
  • A stint in growth-stage tech companies during a ‘high-growth’ period, particularly B2C subscription businesses
  • Previous experience working in growth (product) functions
