The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will focus on driving continuous improvement and enhancing the overall product lifecycle. This role will require independent collaboration with customers to develop impactful features that align with broader product strategies as well as cross-functional collaboration across various internal teams including marketing, services, and support to highlight the value propositions of features in each release.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the vision for 2+ product lines with primary ownership using customer interaction and market research to generate and validate ideas and strategies
  • Lead across Product Management, Services and Support, Commercial and Development teams in complex, strategic roadmap development for primary product line that drives customer success, creates cross-sell and upsell opportunities and helps Format Solutions expand its total addressable market
  • Maintain and prioritize a feature and bug backlog that drives positive customer sentiment and user experience and enable the product team to execute 
  • Drive go-to-market activities through Marketing, Sales, Services, and Support enablement initiatives
  • Participate in product advisory groups, customer conferences and other interactions to foster collaboration with customers, drive adoption, and improve customer sentiment
  • Present and collaborate at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong Industry and/or technical background with the ability to dive into product details and collaborate with development teams
  • Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques
  • Proven ability to create and lead long-term strategic roadmaps while driving short-term tactical execution
  • Capable of operating independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to different stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate challenges, using sound judgement to assess risks and recommend data-driven solutions 
  • Proven ability to engage with customers, company leaders, and cross-functional teams in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • Experience with feed formulation software, software development, nutrition and labeling regulations preferred
