You'll lead initiatives shaping user frequency and communication mediums on our platform. You'll spearhead the development of innovative features and tools, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful products that promote seamless co-playing experiences and develop relevant connections. 

You will report to the Senior Director of Social. This role is based at HQ (no remote option open).

You will:

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our public communication products, including voice in experience, within the Roblox platform.
  • Help envision and build a unified, highly scalable, robust and distributed platform to power communication experiences.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and other team members to prioritize features and drive product development from concept to launch.
  • Leverage metrics to define strategies to iterate and improve communication experience for end users.
  • Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in communication and gaming to inform product decisions.
  • Communicate product updates, breakthroughs, and priorities effectively to collaborators across the organization.
  • Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for communication features, tapping into your expertise in user-centered design principles.


You have:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with expertise in shipping high-quality consumer apps, with a focus on communications and community products.
  • Expertise in navigating communication product development, with a keen understanding of consumer content needs and trends.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers.
  • Genuine passion for gaming and a deep understanding of online communities and social interaction dynamics, allowing for informed product decisions and innovations.
  • Proven track record to unite cross-functional teams, driving cohesive collaboration to deliver on ambitious goals, align products with stakeholder expectations, and conduct rapid experimentation to achieve measurable outcomes in the consumer tech space.
  • Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy, to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful communication tools tailored to user needs and preferences.



For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$269,640$318,090 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
