Senior Product Designer

CloudTrucks provides a "business in a box" solution for truck drivers. We are looking for multiple product designers to collaborate with cross-functional teams and design a product that meaningfully impacts and empowers truck drivers.

At CloudTrucks, design is essential for the success of our business functions. The design team strives to understand customers’ pain points and solve their problems so that the customers can have the very best experience. As a core member of the team, you will work on complex design challenges that greatly impact the lives of our customers.

Here are some of the challenges we are solving for

• Helping drivers search and book high-paying loads and build schedules well suited to their preferences

• Making the driver’s day-to-day road operations seamless; checking in and out at facilities, communication between drivers, operations, and brokers

• Providing a financial system that meets our users’ unique needs; instant job payment, using cash card and tracking expenses, managing repayment of advances.

• Keeping drivers safe and compliant

• Making driver’s business operations efficient and easy to monitor

• Enabling fleet admins to monitor performance and enhance their financial literacy.

• Having drivers onboard as fast as possible while collecting all required information

• Providing internal tools and features for our internal team who supports drivers, which keep the operational workflow efficient yet errorless.

How you will contribute

• Take on complex problems and coming up with intuitive, functional, and simple design solutions.

• Think holistically and create a cohesive experience across the entire user journey.

• Partner with PMs and other stakeholders to define problems and conceptualize product features.

• Collaborate with other designers by brainstorming and providing constructive feedback.

• Work closely with engineers to assess technical constraints, align on development timelines, and ensure high-quality implementation.

• Own projects end-to-end, driving the design vision from inception to execution.

• Conduct user research to identify pain points and apply a user-centered approach to problem-solving.

• Work with design systems to maintain design consistency, also contribute to improving and expanding it.

• Leverage design systems to maintain consistency while contributing to their evolution and improvement.

• Help shape and advance the company’s design culture and best practices.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience.

• A command of visual and communication design principles

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Extremely detail-oriented

• Firm understanding of design systems

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

• Fluency with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools

• Previous experience in early-stage startups and marketing communication design is a strong plus
