Job Description

Graham Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to deliver business intelligence services, lead dashboard development and create, and maintain/modify Power BI reports. You will work with an existing data warehouse structure and help plot out future subject areas to add to the data warehouse. This position will work alongside business analysts and data engineers.

Senior Power BI Developer Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs

  • Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis

  • Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes

  • Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis

  • Work in an Agile environment (Kanban)

  • Work with team in a collaborative environment to deliver solutions to internal and external customers

  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-in-breed applications

  • Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users

Senior Power BI Developer Requirements:

  • Expertise in Power BI development including reports and dashboards

  • Understanding of Data Models and data visualization

  • Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions, DAX, for calculation creation

  • Experience with integrating data from various data sources, flat files, excel, SQL Server databases.

  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • Organizational and time management skills

Senior Power BI Developer Experience:

  • 4 years Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 5+ years experience with date reporting and visualizations

  • Current Microsoft certifications a plus

  • Efficiency with Microsoft Office products
