About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Partner Operations Manager to join our growing Revenue Operations team who are responsible for optimizing the success of Docker’s Sales & GTM teams to accelerate our revenue growth. Your primary focus will be reviewing, streamlining and building channel processes and systems including our Partner portal, deal registration and Partner activation processes. 

An ideal candidate is a start-up builder who has experience in working with global Partner teams, and has worked closely with Salesforce, Tackle and Allbound. This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Review existing Partner operations processes and identify areas for improvement

  • Implement and own key Partner processes such as our deal registration and partner activation processes 

  • Administer our Partner portal and work to make enhancements that align to our GTM strategies working closely with Partner program and Partner Marketing resources

  • Be a key business partner for our Partner Leadership team to help execute ideas and strategies in our Revenue systems and processes

  • Work alongside Partner leadership to ensure that partners are properly activated and able to transact with Docker

  • Create and help manage key Partner metrics that help our Partner leadership team make quality decisions aligned to the right outcomes for Docker

  • Ensure that our Partner processes are layered seamlessly into Docker systems

  • Maintain the verified partner list within Salesforce and ensure these are clearly identifiable

  • Own the channel operations internal documentation

  • Manage and prioritize implementation of key projects including scoping of requirements, writing business requirement documents, collaborating with cross functional teams, and working alongside the business systems team to build, test and roll out new processes

  • Be the subject matter expert for all channel related operations

  • Hold responsibility for updating Partner systems as needed in line with any partner program changes

  • Build processes and policies to identify adherence to partner program requirements 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Partner Operations working closely with Partner leadership

  • Experience working for a high growth software/SaaS company

  • Track record of defining channel operational processes and collaborating with technology teams for successful implementation of projects

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Technically savvy with Google Suite, Salesforce, Tackle & Allbound

  • Confident in understanding and implementing Partner related policies and processes into business systems

  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable plans within a fast paced environment

  • Comfortable and familiar with cross-functional collaboration

  • Understand a variety of channel motions and different types of partnerships

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and love of building

  • Comfortable with new technologies and ability to communicate with those who are tech-savvy 

What to expect in the first 30 days:

What to expect in the first 60 days:

  • Begin taking on projects and working with the relevant cross functional teams to scope and build

  • Take ownership of tools within the tech stack and start scoping refinements and improvements

  • Build documentation to support new and existing processes

  • Start implementing improvements to assist with data integrity and accuracy


What to expect in the first 90 days:

  • Assist in scoping future quarter priority projects

  • Have full ownership of various key projects related to the Partner org

  • Build scalable and repeatable processes to assist the Partner & Sales org
