The Sales Engagement team is dedicated to driving high-quality lead generation and sustaining optimal engagement across our target accounts. This dynamic team thrives on experimentation, data analysis, and continuous learning, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance our outreach strategies. We prioritize proactive engagement and use AI and analytics to refine our campaigns and outreach efforts. What You’ll Do:

As the Senior Manager of Sales Engagement, you will architect and execute the strategy that defines how our company engages with leads digitally. You will control the vision, implementation, and management of innovative lead generation initiatives, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to streamline engagement efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead with data and AI tools to maximize prospect engagement and development to drive MQLs, SQLs, and overall pipeline growth.
  • Create a framework that identifies promising accounts and prioritizes outreach efforts based on potential value and fit.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create highly effective campaigns that generate qualified leads, driving them into the buyer's journey.
  • Build scalable, repeatable processes to measure campaign success, track ROI, to refine our approach and inform future investment decisions.
  • Develop and implement best practices for digital engagement, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies.
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads, establishing clear guidelines for engagement and follow-up.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends to introduce innovative practices, digital tools, and technologies that enhance lead generation efforts.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of sales engagement processes and a strong background in leveraging digital tools for lead generation. You should have:

  • Proven experience in a sales, sales development or marketing role, specifically in B2B environments, with a focus on SaaS products.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies.
  • A track record of building and managing high-performing teams that effectively use technology in sales processes, preferably with experience in the use of AI tooling.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging audiences ranging from executives to technical teams.
  • A strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, adept at synthesizing insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • An understanding of technical audiences, the software development lifecycle, particularly CI/CD practices, and how they relate to customer engagement strategies.

- Collaborating with the marketing team to execute effective campaigns that generate qualified leads and support the buyer's journey.

- Analyzing performance metrics and insights to optimize engagement strategies, continuously improving our approach based on data-driven results.

- Developing and sharing best practices for digital engagement, ensuring alignment with the overall sales strategy.

- Assisting in the identification of high-potential accounts and prioritizing outreach efforts based on fit and opportunity.

- Supporting Sales leadership by ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified leads, establishing clear guidelines for engagement and follow-up.

- Keeping up with industry trends to recommend innovative practices and tools that enhance lead generation efforts.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in sales engagement practices and experience leveraging digital tools for lead generation. You should have:

- Experience in a sales or marketing role with a focus on B2B SaaS products, preferably with at least 5 years in a related field.

- A strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to interpret analytics to inform strategies.

- Proven ability to manage and develop a small team effectively, fostering a culture of innovation and quality engagement.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging various audiences from executives to technical teams.

- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

- Familiarity with software development lifecycles, particularly CI/CD processes, and their importance in customer engagement strategies.

United States Base Pay Range

$162,000$202,500 USD
