As a Senior Lead Product Marketing Manager, Programmatic and Third-Party Demand, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our programmatic ad products through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our third party ads solutions and ensure future investment in solutions are positioned effectively and successfully in the market. 


What you'll do:

  • Shape our product direction through market analysis, research and close collaboration with our Product, Engineering, and Design teams
  • Assess the capabilities and value proposition of our programmatic ad products through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
  • Serve as an advocate and represent the voice of customers; ensure broad awareness of and empathy for customer pain points internally
  • Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, tracking success metrics accordingly
  • Define the messaging, positioning, and launch plan for new advertising products
  • Use data and insights to drive adoption of strategic priorities and influence our overall monetization strategy and growth initiatives 
  • Educate and inspire internal and external teams on Pinterest’s solutions for advertisers and partners alike 
  • Develop market understanding to build business requirements for new products
  • Building cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, Business Development, as well as Sales, Marketing, Communications, PR, Legal, and Pinterest Executive Team
  • Develop and execute programs that drive programmatic revenue and product adoption through third-party partnerships with a wide variety of ecosystem players (e.g. advertisers, marketing agencies, Demand Side Platforms, Supply Side Platforms, Retail Media Networks)
  • Define company-wide go to market strategy for programmatic solutions across auction, programmatic direct deals, and direct integrations, ensuring the right market positioning, commercial models, product roadmap, and partner marketing opportunities are in place to accelerate growth 


What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of total experience in brand or performance advertising with at a fast growing tech company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a related field or equivalent experience
  • Deep subject matter expertise of ad tech ecosystem and programmatic advertising
  • Direct experience driving programmatic growth through third party partners, specifically: Demand Side Platforms (DPSs), Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), Ad Exchanges, Marketing Agencies
  • Deep understanding of buyside and sellside monetization strategies 
  • Ability to distill down market opportunities and insights for the purpose of defining both commercial and go-to-market programs
  • Sharp eye for detail and proven project management and operational skills
  • Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to create trusted partnerships, lead executive conversations, and align senior stakeholders behind goals

In-Office Requirement Statement: 

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
