YOUR TEAM

Nuna IT is the facilitator between business operations and technology: architecting, deploying, and operating corporate systems and services. We are responsible for the productivity of all employees, respond to support requests, and proactively pursue opportunities to improve Nuna’s operations through technology. Our reach spans the entire company, but we work particularly closely with Security, HR, and Workplace management.

YOUR IMPACT

This role will contribute to Nuna’s success by ensuring a reliable and secure computing environment, managing hardware and software lifecycles, and working directly with employees to provide a seamless experience. This role includes a strong focus on identifying and automating operational workflows into self-service processes.

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Serve as a main point of contact for technical support through incoming helpdesk requests
  • Install, modify, repair, organize and maintain an inventory of computer hardware and software resources (we are primarily a macOS environment with cloud-based Linux systems and a handful of Windows systems)
  • Actively search for, identify, and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency by automating workflows and integrating self-service features into essential corporate IT procedures and tools
  • Increase cross-team knowledge and solidify process standardization by developing and maintaining IT documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service through a variety of scenarios using creative diagnostic techniques and a patient, helpful attitude
  • Support office Audio Visual systems as well as occasional company events
  • Manage the office network

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications

  • Accredited degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, a closely related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting macOS and Windows
  • Experience administering productivity tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence, FreshService (ticketing), Atlassian, or similar services
  • Experience and ability working in a helpdesk environment with multiple concurrent requests, changing priorities and time-sensitive requests
  • Strong written and verbal skills along with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to research ambiguous problems and determine a best course of action
  • Proficient in using a scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.) for interacting with REST APIs, managing JSON files, and executing administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic networking & security concepts
  • Experience with a geographically dispersed workforce (in office and remote)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or closely related field
  • Direct prior experience in network or system administration
  • Experience managing endpoints via MDM (Kandji, JAMF, Intune, or similar)
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux
  • Proficiency in a command line environment

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $96,000 to $ 117,000. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
