About The Role
Humane's CosmOS team is seeking a Senior iOS Application Engineer to develop a groundbreaking AI-powered mobile app. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and create an innovative iOS application from the ground up, integrating cutting-edge AI technology with the Humane ecosystem. The CosmOS team is at the forefront of revolutionizing how users interact with AI in their daily lives, and you will play a key part in delivering a seamless, intelligent mobile experience.
What You Might Do
- Design and develop a new iOS app for Humane’s CosmOS AI.
- Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to create intuitive and powerful user experiences.
- Architect technical solutions that bring to life ambitious AI-powered features.
- Connect iOS APIs and data to Humane’s CosmOS AI ecosystem while preserving customer privacy and security.
- Build seamless interactions between the iOS app and Humane's custom hardware, including the groundbreaking Ai Pin.
- Drive the entire app development lifecycle, from conception to App Store submission.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, Swift UI, and Xcode.
- Experience shipping consumer iOS apps from concept to App Store release.
- Solid understanding of iOS app architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with data syncing with cloud services and third party APIs.
- Experience with iOS networking libraries.
- Experience building unique user interfaces for rich data such as photos, videos, notes, and more.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their application in mobile development.
- Experience with React Native and/or web application development.
- Knowledge of HealthKit, HomeKit, ScreenTime APIs, and/or other iOS data integration frameworks.
- Understanding of privacy and security best practices for mobile applications.
Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000

- The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
