We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior International Strategy & Operations Manager to lead our strategic initiatives and their execution across international markets. You will drive business growth, optimize processes, and support market expansion efforts by aligning objectives with regional opportunities. You will coordinate across multiple teams to ensure our market presence aligns with company goals with measurable impact.
You Will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to expand and strengthen the company's presence globally, with a focus on Europe.
- Understand and identify growth opportunities, customer trends, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with country managers and functional teams to align strategies with priorities
- Collaborate with country teams on implementing market expansion plans which include brand marketing, performance marketing, PR/comms, safety and civility, and business development.
- Track and report on key operational metrics to assess the success of initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop frameworks to streamline regional planning and operations that also ensures scalability.
- Supervise operations across key markets, identifying and implementing growth and business continuity strategies
- Act as the primary liaison between regional teams (country managers) and HQ leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay informed on market regulations and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure business practices meet local and international standards
- Mentor and guide regional team members to nurture professional growth and drive team performance
- Promote teamwork, innovation, and excellence across markets
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an MBA is a bonus.
- 10+ years of experience in international operations, management consulting, business strategy, or strategic/product growth oriented roles
- 3+ years of experience working with executive partners
- Solid track record of driving business growth and leading large-scale projects across multiple geographies.
- Outstanding project management skills and able to lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading initiatives with cross functional teams which include product, marketing, trust & safety, PR, business development, finance, and legal/compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Deep understanding of international market dynamics including cultural and regulatory nuances
- Fluency in one or more European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) is a plus
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$236,490—$284,310 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
