As a Senior Front-End Engineer for Creator Foundation, your work will center on collaboration, such as granular permission management, revenue-sharing capabilities, and social features. Our vision is to enable creators to manage teams, share resources, and help foster stronger connections amongst each other, helping them transition into top studios.

In addition, you will be able to contribute to the overall platform infrastructure of the Creator Hub, building towards the foundation of all Creator experience on Roblox. You will work with the Engineering Manager of Creator Foundation. This role will be hybrid in San Mateo 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

We currently work with TypeScript, React, NextJS, but the ability to adapt with changing technology is a meaningful strength.  

You Are:

  • Experienced, 8+ plus years of work experience building world-class UIs
  • Passionate about building an extraordinary UI/UX experience through continuous improvements and rapid iterations
  • Hands-on with modern JavaScript UI frameworks such as React/Redux and NextJS
  • Curious about new technology and product experiences
  • Seeks out other’s perspective to foster yours
  • Understands and is thoughtful about tradeoffs
  • Interested in evolving design systems and building tools to amplify others

You Will:

  • Lead technical decision making and guide the development team.
  • Build and own customer-facing products that enables millions of Creators within our platforms
  • Collaborate with product and design to push the boundary of what is possible

You Have:

  • 9+ years of experience in developing and deploying top user facing applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field
  • Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$233,840$283,780 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
