Q2 is seeking a highly motivated, meticulous and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team and support our Revenue function. This role will play a critical part in building, maintaining, and improving financial models to drive optimized revenue forecasting accuracy, scenario analysis, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial modeling, revenue drivers, and key business levers that impact top-line growth. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, and the FP&A team. • • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience 
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to draw insights from data and present findings to senior leadership 

  • Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions 

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a trusted, strategic, financial business partner 

  • Background in financial services, information technology and/or software is a definite advantage, particularly SaaS, including software revenue recognition 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools and financial systems (Anaplan & NetSuite) is preferred
