Position Overview: We are hiring an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in React Native to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with growth marketing, hospitality, & membership teams to develop and optimize the front-end experience, ensuring seamless, top-tier functionality for our members. The ideal candidate is proactive, skilled in cross-platform development, has deep experience working in design-forward organizations and is motivated to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences across our consumer app.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of responsive, high-quality front-end applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and growth teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and engaging user interfaces.
- Design and implement cross-platform components and features that create a consistent and refined user experience.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of engineering roadmaps to support membership acquisition and engagement initiatives.
- Optimize app performance for smooth, responsive interactions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Partner with back-end engineers to define and integrate API endpoints for front-end development.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to enhance overall application stability and performance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on React Native for cross-platform mobile applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience building complex, high-performance mobile applications.
- Skilled in implementing reusable UI components and working with design systems.
- Demonstrated experience with API integrations and mobile app performance optimization.
- Proficientcy with PHP, Laravel, AWS, and MySQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of success in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience working with marketing automation platforms, such as Braze.
- Previous experience in a venture-backed startup, with a proactive approach to adapting in dynamic, growth-driven settings.
This position is open to be remote within the United States.
