Job Summary

Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex Headend functions. Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities
Leads assigned projects assuring they are finished on time and on budget. Recommends, approves and assesses headend projects.
Directs, plans and implements new product introductions.
Sets standards of performance for all levels of Headend operations to promote high technical standards.
Prepares and analyzes Headend through statistical reports to control costs. Completes reports on time as assigned.
Prepares department budget. Resolves escalated scope, schedule and budget issues.
Ensures that all head end compliance requirements including FCC technical standards are correct and up to date.
Maintains and documents ongoing maintenance program for all assigned systems and sites.
Assists in troubleshooting and repairing assigned systems in conjunction with subordinates and vendors so as to insure timely and effective remedies.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $167,691.52 - $251,537.28

This job can be performed in California with a Pay Range of $147,568.54 - $251,537.28

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Education

Bachelor's Degree
