The Senior Director, Integrated Marketing will lead business marketing efforts to position Pinterest as a full funnel performance platform for advertisers across the globe. This role is focused on supporting ad revenue growth and product adoption by developing and executing global marketing programs and campaigns that communicate the value of Pinterest to advertisers. The candidate will work closely with product marketing, sales and regional marketing teams to elevate brand awareness, consideration and ultimately demand for Pinterest’s advertising solutions. 


What you’ll do: 

  • Develop and lead global marketing strategies and campaigns to drive revenue growth for the platform’s ad-supported business, promote the platform’s ad products, and drive demand across regions. 
  • Set the direction for teams of people managers and individual contributors, aligning sub-goals with overall vision, to set the direction for audience level marketing strategies and oversee a portfolio of marketing campaigns and programs in support of brand awareness and perception, product adoption and usage, and revenue.
  • Effectively collaborate with and influence senior level cross-functional  partners and stakeholders in addressing the most complex business challenges.
  • Manage resources across projects and programs, negotiate flow of resources on and off the team as needed, and build the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring. 


What we’re looking for:

  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising marketplace, exceptional leadership and partnership abilities as well as the ability to adapt strategies across diverse global markets.
  • Experience working as a leader within a business marketing team within an ad supported platform 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing or communications,, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to masterfully represent the company in the market in collaboration with stakeholders. Understands values, creative tone and voice, and can deliver work that matches and enhances the brand and maximizes its impact. 
  • Demonstrated ability to set and communicate a clear strategy and vision at an organizational level to mobilize the organization and deliver high-quality results.  Proven experience in rallying resources and support and removing obstacles to meet customer needs and fostering a sense of urgency in achieving organizational goals.
  • Proven track record of maintaining persistence and composure in challenging situations, with the capability to motivate and lead others through adversity and change effectively. Adept at swiftly identifying solutions, making tough decisions for the benefit of the organization, and navigating uncertainty with employees while ensuring productivity.
  • Experienced in creating systems that promote a culture of accountability, with the ability to role model strategic actions to meet commitments. Capable of ensuring that functions and partner organizations meet their milestones, goals, and uphold Pinterest's values.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive organizational culture that values diversity. Experience in sponsoring and mentoring individuals from various backgrounds, with a responsibility for holding others accountable in creating a sense of belonging. Deep understanding of cultural differences to create organizational value.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. 
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times per year and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.  This role also requires travel outside of the United States 2-3 times per year.
