The Data and Product Partnerships team is looking for a Senior Director to manage the company’s most important data and technology relationships. This person will lead strategy development, negotiate partnership deals, improve our key relationships, and develop a team focused on new business development, product partnerships, and partner management. Through your efforts leading our partnership strategy and execution, you will help deliver the mission for Credit Karma's more than 130+ million members.

  • Drive the team’s vision to fully understand our consumers’ financial profiles (e.g. assets, spending, and income)
  • Developing new partner strategies to enable new product / data offerings and value to Credit Karma (e.g. GenerativeAI, connected accounts, telematics)
  • Structuring and negotiating complex deals with our most strategic data and technology partners
  • Leading relationships with the account, product, and technical teams at Credit Karma’s credit bureau and data relationships
  • Quarterbacking the end-to-end deal process for data or technology across cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance
  • Building and developing a world class Business Development and Partnerships team

  • Direct access to Credit Karma senior leadership and highly engaged with leaders at external companies
  • Tough and business-critical problems for you to solve
  • Use strategy development, negotiation and analytical skills and relationship experience to build key initiatives with both new and existing partners

  • 10+ years of work experience in management consulting, business development, or partnerships
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or at least 7 years of related business experience and a track record of continuous professional development

  • People leader - Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop high performing teams and culture
  • Strategic problem solver - Ability to develop and articulate clear vision, thought partner to Product and Strategy teams, comfortable with ambiguity, capable of structuring business and data strategies independently in fast-paced environment
  • Partner leader - Develops relationships while serving as a trusted advisor with key partners
  • Proven deal-maker - Significant experience managing the full cycle all the way through deal close. Skilled in influencing external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Subject matter expert - Knowledgeable of credit data, media technology ecosystems, and consumer fintech
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Skilled in utilizing data and analytics to drive improved business decisions

Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $300,000 - $350,000, plus equity and benefits.
