Under the direction of the IT Director, Applications, the Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring DevOps as a product is effectively managed, maintained and supported throughout the F irm and that DevOps users have the appro priate guidance , governance and mentorship around their use of DevOps and related tools . In addition, they provide higher tier support for issues associated with automations configured/developed.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure solutions using solutions like Microsoft Power Platform suite (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI ), C# developed applications, and other internally developed solutions as needed
  • Develop , maintain , support and govern CI/CD process and procedures to ensure smooth integration of builds and deployments
  • Enable, support and govern the implementation and manage ment of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform , Github , Kubernetes, Argo, etc.
  • Collaborate with Architects and other Engineers on delivery roadmaps, timelines and other priorities to ensure alignment and consistency in delivery
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in all DevOps and related processes
  • Provide support , guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices related to project setup and management, branching and release strategies
  • Monitor DevOps environment for hygiene and to validate best practices are being followed
  • Create , implement and manage pipeline , container and release strateg ies and management practices


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT or related major
  • 7+ years of p roven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Proven software development background and a coding mindset
  • AZ-400 Certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 to $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
