About the Job: 

LaunchDarkly is looking for a Senior Deal Management Analyst to join our team. The role reports to the Director of Deal Management within the Revenue Operations team.

Revenue Operations & Enablement is a strategic partner to the Revenue Organization responsible for GTM insights, strategy, technology, and enablement. The Deal Management team consists of a centralized group of trusted advisors operating as business partners to the sales team. As the primary point of contact amongst various departments, this team works with key stakeholders in constructing complex and non-standard deals. The mission is to improve sales efficiency and prevent bottlenecks in the deal process with the ultimate goal of getting deals through for signatures.

The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, flexible, and can adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced and agile environment. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact for all stakeholders and manager of internal workflow for each deal in progress.

  • Provide guidance and assist with deal structuring, pricing, determining relevant contracting vehicles, non-standard order terms, etc.

  • Construct and prepare customer ready quotes, proposals and/or order forms that comply with Revenue strategy and corporate governance.

  • Work closely with all business stakeholders to get deals through efficiently: Sales, SE, Customer Success, Professional Services, Operations, Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Support, Products, IT, and Marketing. 

  • Respond to customer and field inquiries related to quotes, orders and contracts/agreements. 

  • Data entry and updates to internal systems as needed. 

  • Maintain customer files and records in internal systems. 

  • Continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall workflows and operations processes. 

  • Attend and participate in Sales QBRs and Forecast calls.

  • Help create/update training materials and documents as needed.

  • Work on other ad-hoc projects as required.

About You:

  • A customer focused team player with a high degree of professionalism.

  • A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • A high degree of flexibility, be extremely organized and detail oriented. 

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good understanding of business process flow and the upstream/downstream impact.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations in a high-tech company. 

  • Minimum 3 years in a direct deal desk or deal management function.

  • BS/BA in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, or related discipline.

  • Working knowledge of salesforce and salesforce CPQ

  • Mathematically sound with ability to construct quotes and orders with varying subscription terms, co-terms, multi-currency and complex constructs. 

  • Proficient in Excel.

  • Knowledge of forecast analytics is a plus.

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4:

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area: $118,000 - $163,000**
  • Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $107,000 - $147,000**
  • Zone 3: All other US locations: $101,000 - $138,000**

LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
