cBEYONData is seeking a skilled Senior Data Manager to join our team in support of a Data Engineering and Analytics effort for a Federal customer.  The purpose of the work is to seek data engineering and analytics support in generating requirements for a technical upgrade of the client's ERP system to S/4HANA. The Government seeks to use a fit-to-standard approach to evaluate S/4HANA out-of-the-box capability first and what client process changes need to occur to leverage S/4HANA with standard configuration, minimizing customization.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the overall lead and data manager for the effort
  • Serve as a primary interface with the Government, including Contracting Officer’s Representative, and shall be available for in-person meetings with 24 hours' notice in the National Capital Region
  • Serves as a leader in Financial Improvement Coordination, ensuring that a group of professionals are working successfully within the context of complex business environments
  • Develops business cases, functional and non-functional requirements, feasibility studies, and scope solutions for new solutions
  • Comprehends, communicates, and guides interrelationships between requirements and solutions, considering both the current and potential future environment.
  • Identifies gaps and shortcomings in solutions and determines necessary workarounds and/or changes to the solutions proposed
  • Leads process modeling and translates requirements into design. Highly knowledgeable and greatly skilled at assessing and implementing
    feasible solutions in compliance with government standards and relevant best practices. Leads solution design.
  • Leads formulation and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Coordinates with the client at the SES-level
    and above.

Requirements 

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance (sponsorship is not available)
  • 9 years of relevant experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of financial management, business systems, accounting, human capital, innovation field, or other relevant subjects
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role
  • Experience leading large, complex technology transformations and/or data migration efforts in a DoD environment; ideally federal ERP experience and/or experience leading S4 HANA upgrades
  • Recent Navy ERP data migration experience
  • Experience leading large complex IT/ Data transformations for DoD environment
  • Certification in fields related to data science, data analytics, computer science, IT, Business Intelligence, Data Architecture
  • Experience leveraging Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • Experience working ERP Systems preferably SAP ECC and SAP s/4HANA
  • Experience leading S/4HANA upgrades
