About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (III) to join our Analytics team supporting Finance. As a Senior Data Analyst (III), you will play a critical role in driving our business strategy and growth by leveraging data to calculate contribution profit, EBITDA, revenue, and credit consumption (among other financial data points). Your work will help steer our short and long term decisioning.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Champion a Data-Driven Culture – Act as an ambassador for data-driven decision-making, using data to answer business questions, drive strategy, and deliver measurable results.
  • Manage and Organize Data – Access, clean, and structure raw data efficiently, ensuring it is useful for reporting and, at times, production.
  • Develop Powerful Visualizations – Create automated ledger and Looker reports that help the Finance team track quarterly key performance metrics and short-term-incentive-plan goals.
  • Deliver High-Impact Presentations – Present deep-dive findings and regular project/progress summaries to key stakeholders, guiding informed decision-making.
  • Tackle Complex Business Questions – Apply advanced quantitative analysis like forecasting to project future performance of new and existing initiatives.
  • Ensure Statistical Rigor – Design and evaluate experiments, determine statistical significance, run power tests, and make data-backed recommendations on when to rollout, iterate, optimize, or pivot.

Our technology:

  • Slack and Google Suite for communication
  • Postgres for storage, Redis for caching, and Snowflake for our data warehouse
  • Gitlab for version control and CI/CD, and our infrastructure is hosted on AWS, making use of Kubernetes, RDS, etc
  • Amplitude for client-side metrics, alerting, and experimentation
  • Looker for data visualization
  • DBT for data modelling, developing robust metadata, and unit tests
  • Select for cost monitoring
  • Portable, hightouch, Big Eye, and Fivetran for ETL/ELT
  • Secoda as a data catalogue

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years experience with a mainstream dashboarding tool such as Looker
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Finance role, or at a start-up
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics or related field
  • Strong in SQL, familiar with DBT, and some experience with Git
  • Proficient in Python for data science and process automation with on-the-job experience (can be within a co-op or internship environment)
  • Aligned with hyper-growth culture at Super.com
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into simple, non-technical explanations that make them easily understandable to all stakeholders
  • CFA preferred
  • Master’s degree in quantitative field preferred

We’ve got you covered:

  • We are remote first: You have the flexibility to work from around the world and the hours that make sense for you– so that you can do your best work while living life on your own terms
  • Other perks include: unlimited PTO, recharge days, travel discounts on SuperTravel, Weekly UberEats credit, annual company offsites
  • We welcome new family additions with generous parental leave and a flexible return-to-work plan
  • Competitive salary packages, equity options, great benefits from day one, wellness budgets, as well as personal and team-level development budgets
  • This is just scratching the surface– see our careers site for a more detailed overview of our perks & benefits
