Roblox is searching for a tech-savvy Client Platform Engineer to join our amazing team! Working with the Client Services Manager, you'll be our second engineer in this critical role, taking on our diverse fleet of devices and making sure everyone has the tools they need to thrive. From keeping our systems secure to resolving tricky issues, this is a unique opportunity to have a real impact to demonstrate and grow your skills at an innovative company!
You will:
- Manage entire fleet of macOS, Windows Desktop, Linux Desktop, Android, iOS and ChromeOS
- Own the rollout of patches, OS upgrades and certificates for all endpoints
- Improving the security posture of all managed endpoints
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues pertaining to IT hardware, software, enterprise systems and networking
- Build internally owned systems in a hybrid environment
- Prioritize and schedule problem resolution and escalating when necessary
- Partner with support on resolving complex issues
- Participate on the team’s on-call rotation
You have:
- 5-7 years in an IT Engineering or IT Support role in an enterprise environment
- 4+ years experience working with endpoint management stacks (Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE, GitHub)
- Expert knowledge with MDM’s
- Experience in managing 5,000+ devices- macOS/Windows/Linux/Android/iOS/ChromeOS
- Experience with deploying and operating security tools such as (CrowdStrike, FleetDM, Kolide, osquery)
- Expert knowledge with macOS, Windows Desktop and Windows Server's operating systems
- Experience writing fluently in at least one language (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, Ruby, JSON, YAML, HCL, and XML)
- Strong networking skills
- Experience with git and a framework/workflow that enables infrastructure to be defined as code
- Experience with administration and integrations with access/identity management tools such as Okta, including Okta Workflows (or similar), Google Workspace, EntraID, Microsoft Active Directory
- Familiar with PKI concepts and certificate management
- Experienced with Zendesk, Jira or similar service desk ticketing system
- Experience with resolving critical vulnerabilities
- Experience with 3rd party clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Bonus: Familiar with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Terraform, Chef, Tines

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$184,590—$219,850 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
