The role
Infinite Reality is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer to help start our Procurement function. This role is critical in sourcing and procuring high quality software, products, and services at competitive prices and managing contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives. Work closely with stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, gather requirements, build RFQs/RFPs, and manage the entire sourcing process.
- Lead cross-functional teams to Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers that meet stakeholder requirements and provide the ideal mix of price, quality and reliability.
- Partner with stakeholders and Legal to negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. IT, HR, Finance) to understand their upcoming needs and maintain a sourcing calendar of projected upcoming activities.
- Develop and maintain an accurate database of contracts including reminders of key dates (e.g. auto-renewal dates, expirations dates, milestone dates).
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
- Other procurement duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, e-Sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
We’ll be extra pumped if you have
- Experience in software and technology sourcing is preferred.
- CPSM or other relevant certification is a plus.
Salary Range
$96,000—$120,000 USD
Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
