About the team & opportunity

What’s so great about working on Calendly’s Marketing team?

We show our prospective customers the value of our product and features in maximizing their most valuable asset…time.

Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Senior Brand Marketing Manager who will bring strategic campaign thinking, operational execution, and a passion for creative storytelling. You will report to the Director of Content + Creative and will be responsible for leading high-impact brand activations—from standout event presences to unconventional creative campaigns—while also supporting core communications and internal events.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role perfect for someone who thinks both creatively and operationally, and who’s passionate about turning big ideas into unforgettable experiences that drive awareness and affinity.

A day in the life of a Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Calendly

You will be comfortable in a fast-paced technology marketing environment. You are a natural communicator, you enjoy collaborating across teams and with various stakeholders and subject matter experts. You’re a seasoned storyteller who understands the consumer’s point of view, from their needs and wants to their pain points and frustrations.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Own the strategy and execution of in-market activations that showcase the Calendly brand in unexpected and delightful ways
  • Lead creative development and execution for Calendly’s presence at key external events such as INBOUND and Web Summit — including managing timelines, creative partners, internal stakeholders, and post-event measurement
  • Drive innovative and cross-functional brand initiatives outside of traditional events — e.g., pop-ups, experiential stunts, content-driven activations, and more — to help Calendly stand out in a crowded market
  • Partner with PR contractors and internal stakeholders to support core communications needs such as product launches, reactive comms, and media inquiries
  • Help maintain our corporate narrative and brand positioning in the market, in partnership with Marketing and Executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate across Product, Brand, Lifecycle and Growth Marketing teams to ensure creative brand efforts align with broader marketing goals
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and messaging are aligned and on track

What do we need from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, experiential marketing, events, or communications — ideally at a B2B SaaS company or agency supporting them
  • A strong creative sensibility and a portfolio of out-of-the-box activations that broke through the noise
  • Proven success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across events, creative, and comms
  • Excellent communication and writing skills — you’re comfortable drafting messaging, briefing spokespeople, and making a case for bold ideas
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience managing budgets and external vendors
  • A collaborative spirit who’s energized by building something new in a fast-paced, growing org
  • Comfortable being hands-on and wearing multiple hats — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Energy, enthusiasm, resourcefulness, a positive, "can-do" attitude, a bias toward action, and a tolerance for change
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness, with an innate desire to get better at your work through feedback, data, education, and results
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
