Senior Architect, Marketing Cloud primary responsibilities will be to engage with stakeholders, and IT teams to understand requirements, and then prove and design customer centric business solutions. You will own technical and solution envisioning with customers via engagements including demos, solution designs, implementation plans and proof of concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand overall marketing application portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Salesforce and 3rd party solutions) using SaaS, PaaS, custom development, and DevOps

  • Leads estimations and delivery plans for strategic Salesforce Marketing Cloud alongside a trusted Salesforce Partner 

  • Design and build technical architecture artifacts to support the implementation plan for SFMC, including but not limited to integration diagrams, solution architecture diagrams, system interaction diagrams, etc 

  • Drive significant improvements in CX and Marketing communication through improved technical design, integrated Salesforce experiences, and SFMC solutions 

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the SFMC delivery team and internal marketing stakeholders 

  • Validate key functionalities, capabilities, and integrations with developers to ensure Accuracy and Effectiveness 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and optimization of marketing initiatives 

  • Experience in developing Data Cloud Architecture and Data Model Setup in conjunction with Marketing Cloud and Salesforce. 

  • Familiarity with guidance on data transformation utilizing SF Data Cloud Tools

  • Expertise in programming languages in SFMC: AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SSJS and/or JavaScript, SQL, and Query Studio  

  • Familiar with Web Service integration languages (REST/SOAP)  

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud 

  • Experience in implementing automated solutions utilizing marketing cloud server-side javascript  

  • Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Others  

  • Hands on knowledge with Salesforce, including implementing declarative and programmatic functions  

  • Hands on experience with data sources, APIs, and integration tools to ensure seamless data flow and accurate data management within the Salesforce data cloud ecosystem  

  • Detailed understanding of the development of modules within Salesforce & SFMC and how those modules tie into a broader unified customer profile  

  • Experience with data management and governance best practices including privacy and consent 

  • Develop strong partnerships with Digital Marketing Leadership, Technology Leadership, Product Management, and Salesforce engineers to ensure the SFMC always meets and exceeds the business needs  

  • Oversee, Optimize, and manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Account Engagement, Engagement, Personalization, Data Cloud, Salesforce Campaigns, and Preference Center) products utilized by Leasing, Marketing, Communications, CX, Property Ops  

  • Engage other Tech, Marketing, and Data platform teams in a continuous feedback loop  

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the Technology and Data teams  

  • Manage delivery related communications with stakeholders, project managers, enablement, business and IT management, and end users 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Certifications in the following are required: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Builder, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

  • Certification in the following technologies preferred: Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Systems Architect

  • Experience. 10+ years of success in consultative/complex projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.

  • Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior stakeholders in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects. 

  • Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through appropriate technologies 

  • Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist) 

  • TOGAF or relevant enterprise architecture framework experience specially designing Operating models, Business Architecture, Solution and Integration architecture artifacts.

  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations

  • Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements

  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of individual solution architecture alternatives

  • Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems

  • Basic knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

  • Basic knowledge of information principles and policies

  • Understanding of application development methodologies

  • Understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems

  • Understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to respond to the political challenges

  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management. 

  • Experience with deep knowledge in Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins). 

  • Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments) 

  • Experience using integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse)

  • Web application technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices; (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM)

$177,000 - $182,500 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.  Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
