Job Description:

As a Senior Application Consultant you are pivotal in bridging the gap between the solutions and the client’s business needs. Responsible for understanding client requirements, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating the value of these solutions to stakeholders. This role involves collaborating closely with sales teams to identify opportunities, conducting detailed needs assessments, and delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations. Senior Application Consultant must possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language. They also provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of solutions, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide billable consulting services to law firm clients, including solution design, system configuration, testing support, training, and go-live assistance.
  • Define and document functional requirements, collaborating with Project Management and Technical Consultants to develop implementation plans.
  • Develop key project documentation, such as Functional Requirements, Training Strategies, and Testing Strategies.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruptions for stakeholders.
  • Leverage expertise in law firm operations—including collections, conflicts, and electronic billing—to enhance client success.
  • Work cross-functionally within a matrix organization to align teams and optimize project outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all project assignments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software capabilities and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and participating in internal initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental and company objectives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of consulting experience, preferably within the legal or accounting industries.
  • Experience implementing legal practice management software (Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E) or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving, quantitative reasoning, and workflow modeling.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationships across an organization.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio (Power BI is a plus).
  • Ability to travel full-time as needed (75% or more).
