Lead, Sales Development Representative (SDR)
At Relyance AI, we are looking for a dynamic Lead, Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build and scale our SDR program. In this role, you will not only lead and mentor an SDR team but also serve as the most senior SDR, forging strategic relationships across Sales and Marketing to establish a foundational, compelling SDR function. You will play a key role in growing business across multiple industries and geographies.
This role requires the ability to commute to the San Francisco office (44 Montgomery Street) up to 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a growing team of SDRs, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Drive lead generation, new business prospecting, and outreach strategies to create a high-performing SDR team.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Sales and Marketing to align on goals and ensure effective collaboration.
- Qualify and generate leads through inbound and outbound outreach activities.
- Articulate the Relyance AI value proposition to decision-makers and assess buying interest.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team, providing detailed lead information and helping to ensure productive and successful demos.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics while continuously improving processes and outreach methods.
- Keep Salesforce accounts, contacts, and leads updated, ensuring accurate documentation of all interactions (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, etc.).
- Foster a strong, data-driven culture that emphasizes proactive problem-solving and continuous learning.
This role is a fit for you if you bring:
- Proven experience as an SDR, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- Experience with enterprise-level prospecting and generating sales opportunities.
- Proven experience working within sales playbook methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and make decisions based on data.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and self-motivate, especially in a remote setting.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring and growing others.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience in the security or privacy space.
- Startup experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience engaging with high-level decision-makers such as CISOs, Data Privacy Officers, and Chief Legal Officers.

Compensation: The total on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $100,000 to $120,000, based on experience, location, and role responsibilities.
