Sales/Business Development Representative

As a Sales & Business Development Representative at Wherobots, you will play a crucial role in growing our customer base and contributing to our revenue goals. You will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound lead flows, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic relationships with potential clients. Working closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, you will leverage your knowledge of geospatial and data analytics to effectively communicate the value of Wherobots to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as manage targeted outbound prospecting programs

  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts

  • Meet or exceed BDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets

  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities

  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts

  • Work to have a variety of touches (call, email, social, etc.) on all leads in your assigned territory using Outreach.io

  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Hubspot

  • Participate in documenting all processes in the Wherobots handbook and update as needed with your Manager

  • Act as a mentor for new hires in helping them navigate their key accounts

  • Work in collaboration with Digital Marketing to develop targeted marketing tactics against your assigned target accounts

  • Actively partners with the Sales Team to strategically prospect in their respective territories.

  • Proficient in using Hubspot and other inbound/outbound lead management tools

  • Previous tech industry experience or experience in sales development, marketing and/or sales is a plus

  • Globally we require excellent written and spoken English which is our company language

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is 100,000 - 150,000 base salary plus commission. Although we aim to establish a primary engineering presence in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Seattle, we provide flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, seniority, skills, and experience of the candidate.
