What is special about this role?
The Sales Associate at Helix will play a critical role with the Commercial team to drive business leads with both cold and warm outreach to health system decision makers. This role often acts as a first touch point for prospective customers, so will need to quickly build customer rapport and establish trust and credibility.
As a Sales Associate, you will:
Execute Helix’s outreach strategy in order to drive first calls with prospects
- Develop and execute cold outreach, warm touch and follow-up messaging, in partnership with Marketing team
- Build creative messaging that will make Helix and yourself stand out in a competitive marketplace
- Nurture opportunities with health system decision makers to turn them into first calls or meetings with Business Development team
- Confidently handles multiple channels to execute outreach including but not limited to email, phone calls & LinkedIn outreach.
- Execute pre-event outreach and timely post-event lead follow-up to maximize first call opportunities and continues to nurture them to first meeting
- Represent Helix at key conferences by interacting with prospects and developing leads at the booth
- Maintain prospect CRM and own monitoring of warm and hot leads
- Perform screening calls with inbound leads and identifies true opportunities for Business Development team
- Proactively identifies and executes new opportunities and avenues to drive first calls
About you:
- Mission-oriented, with a deep passion for improving people’s lives through DNA
- Interest in healthcare
- BA or BS required
- Self-starter with proactive approach to pursuing and securing leads
- Organized individual with solid time management skills.
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written, in addition to excellent listening skills and a positive, engaging presence.
- Willingness to contribute in a variety of ways, even if outside formal responsibilities
- Accomplishes team and organization goals by accepting ownership for following through on new and different requests.
Pluses:
- Knowledge of and experience working with Hubspot, Salesforce, Groove & LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Sales experience working in the B2B healthcare space

Expected Pay For This Role:
There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary 2) Annual Bonus 3) Equity
Expected Helix Base: $65,000 - $89,750 annually
Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 5% of your annual salary
Equity: We offer generous equity at Helix. If you receive a Helix offer your recruiter will book dedicated time with you to educate you on our equity model.
The salary range above is our reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role across US locations. Actual starting pay will be based on non-discriminatory job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. What To Expect During Your Onboarding Week:
We want to make sure your first week is spent learning the foundations. You will be invited to live orientation sessions and spend time with your hiring manager developing your individual roadmap to success. This experience will include sessions that cover your benefits, security & privacy training, an introduction to the OKR framework used at Helix and our communication tools and norms.
What To Expect During Your First 90 days:
First 30 days: you’ll spend time learning the Helix way, completing training and onboarding for your roles, and getting introduced to your team and relevant stakeholders. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of our customers, our products, the impact we make in the lives of our communities, and how to thrive at Helix through participation in Helix U.
Day 30 - 60: you’ll spend time contributing to projects, deeply familiarizing yourself with team and company processes, and developing a deeper understanding of Helix’s products, services and capabilities.
Day 60 - 90: you’ll build your OKRs with your manager, start to take ownership of projects and initiatives on your team, and begin to demonstrate your impact on the Helix mission.
