About the role and why it’s unique:

  • As a Risk Analyst I, you’ll play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and managing risk across our sportsbook products.
  • Leverage real-time market data, advanced analytics, and industry expertise to inform line movements, manage exposure, and optimize our pricing strategies.
  • This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to risk management, trading strategy, and product innovation as we continue to scale.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to all aspects of risk and trading operations in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends and inform line movements and origination strategies.
  • Monitor market activity in real time to manage exposure and mitigate risk effectively.
  • Support product design and development, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and innovative.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness across all sports and statistical categories.
  • Take on increasing responsibilities within Risk and Trading, growing into a key decision-maker on the team.

Who you are:

  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • BS degree in Math, Economics, or similar data-driven fields.
  • Experience working with real-time market data and risk models in the sports betting or financial industries.
  • Understanding of odds compilation, line movements, and sports trading strategies.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying market inefficiencies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work across teams and departments.

Even better if you have:

  • Prior experience in sportsbook risk management or trading.
  • Strong knowledge of sports analytics, player statistics, and betting markets.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools to drive insights.
  • Passion for sports, fantasy sports, and sports betting.


Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $62,500, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

  • Unlimited PTO (we're extremely flexible with the exception of the first few weeks before & into the NFL season)
