About this Job
As an RF Test Engineer at Eridan you will play a critical role in supporting the upcoming deployment of our commercial product. A successful RF Test Engineer will be a creative and flexible individual with a mastery of test equipment, automation software, and electronic design and manufacturing.
Given our anticipated growth, a RF Test Engineer at Eridan must be willing to learn new techniques quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for data driven individuals who are comfortable working with a cross-disciplinary approach to solve problems independently as well as in a team. We look for engineers with persistence, curiosity, and excellent communication skills.
As our RF Test Engineer, you will:
- Work closely with design and production teams to define the specific test requirements
- Develop test software solutions to automate data collection and reports
- Publish and maintain progress to schedules and testing status
- Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
- Run tests through all stages of component and final product
- Analyze test results, identify potential malfunctions, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements
- Debug product in the lab. Investigations include hardware, software, firmware, and fixturing.
- Create test docs (DVT & PVT)
- Maintain test database, documenting technical issues, and solutions
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
- 3+ years of experience as a RF Test Engineer or similar role
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant field
- Ability to write test software in C#. Additional languages are a plus (i.e. Python, C, C++, etc.)
- Solid foundation of comms theory and signal processing
Preferred Qualities/Nice to have
- Working knowledge of WIFI or 3GPP 4G/5G system specifications
- Experience with System Requirement and Design Validation or Verification
- Familiarity with various testing techniques
- Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
- General electrical power engineering experience
- Analog electronics skills

Salary Range
Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $115,000 and $135,000 plus stock options and benefits.
