About the role:
Skydio is seeking an experienced and driven Revenue Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. This role will have two primary focus areas:
- Implementing and optimizing processes and systems across the proposal to booking phases of the sales cycle to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, streamline operations, and support revenue growth.
- Managing SKU and product data to support quoting, pipeline management, and order execution. You will ensure product and pricing structures are accurate and consistent across Salesforce CPQ, B2B Commerce, and Partner Community, facilitating seamless sales and fulfillment operations.
Success in this role requires deep expertise in “point and click” Salesforce administration, strong project management skills, and the ability to proactively solve complex and ambiguous problems. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Systems Engineering to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment across Skydio’s revenue operations ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the management and enhancement of Skydio's technology ecosystem, including Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce B2B Commerce, & Salesforce Partner Community.
- Optimize internal processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the proposal to booking phases of the sales cycle.
- Manage Quote and Order management processes and technology, including creating, reviewing, and approving quotes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and implement Deal Desk processes and systems, including managing deal approvals, pricing requests, and non-standard terms and conditions.
- Act as a product/SKU master, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders on New Product Introduction initiatives and ensuring that all pricing and product information is up-to-date and accurate in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation on processes and systems.
- Conduct change management by training and supporting end-users on technology systems and processes.
- Conduct regular audits of systems and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Proactively identify and solve complex and ambiguous problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology company that sells hardware & software to SLED, Enterprise, and Federal Government customers
- Expertise in Salesforce administration and technology systems management, including Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce B2B Commerce, and Salesforce Partner Community
- Salesforce CPQ Certification preferred
- Knowledge of Netsuite and Salesforce to Netsuite integrations preferred
- Experience managing SKU and product data within Salesforce to support quoting, pipeline management, and order execution, ensuring accuracy and consistency across sales and fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with SKU lifecycle management as it pertains to hardware and software products, including product catalog structuring, pricing, and bundling within Salesforce CPQ and other integrated systems
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve complex issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Systems Engineering teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving process improvements and system optimizations
Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $110,500 - $139,750*.
