Position Title: SAP Solution Architect
Years of Experience: 5+ years

Department Overview:
At Accuris, we are looking for a service-minded and structured colleague to join our global SAP-IT organization as an SAP Solution Architect for multiple business areas including Finance/Controlling, Order Management (FI/CO/SD/MM) and IS-Media on ECC6. This is a strategic and hands-on development role for our company as we mature our SAP practices. We maintain a customized SAP ECC6 environment on RISE/AWS that serves as the backbone for our business operations across all products and services. The platform is integrated with other enterprise solutions, including:• Salesforce• OneStream• Concur• Ceridian/Dayforce• Snowflake
Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated SAP Solution Architect to join our dynamic IT team. This hands-on role will involve designing, implementing, testing, and deploying scalable solutions within the SAP ecosystem. As a key contributor, you will work closely with various global teams, including Finance, Client Support, Contract Management, Product, and Legal, to deliver impactful solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and service-focused environment.
What You'll Do
As an SAP Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include:• System Configuration and Development: Responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions. Translate overall business process requirements to SAP configuration. Understand non-SAP business systems integrated with SAP. This may include the development of APIs for connections to our enterprise applications. Implement and deploy technical changes. Maintain and enhance existing SAP applications. Design, code, test and debug SAP programs and resolve issues.• System Maintenance and Support: Take ownership of system maintenance tasks such as: performing system refresh and client copies, conducting daily system monitoring and performance tuning, managing user access and security in SAP. Maintain batch job schedule. Liaise with SAP to implement service requests as needed.• Planning and Strategy: Assist business leadership teams in implementing strategic improvements to SAP. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders in shaping new initiatives, ensuring clear requirements, appropriate priorities and sound solution strategies that are aligned with business goals, best practices and SAP standard functionality. Support the identification and prioritization of enhancement opportunities to standardize/improve processes and system configuration that supports the customer-focused approach but ensures compliance to the business management goals and objectives.• Defect Management: Work closely with our businesses and functional groups to properly diagnose and resolve issues. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools (JIRA), and collaborate with development team to ensure timely resolution.• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing of SAP systems to ensure they meet defined performance and scalability benchmarks.• Test Execution: Document test cases and test scenarios that cover various SAP modules, functionalities, and integration points. Perform manual and automated testing of SAP applications, including end-to-end testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.• Data Management: Create and manage test data required for different testing scenarios, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and security.• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture in the SAP system repository. Provide status reports and updates for project teams and stakeholders.• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP updates, new features, and testing best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the testing lifecycle.• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure high-quality SAP.
What You Need to Get the Job Done• Education: Degree in finance, computer science, engineering, or similar with a background in financial management of order processes. Masters preferred.• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP development. Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. Focused on promoting process best practices.• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, Finance/Controlling, Order Management (FI/CO/SD/MM) on ECC6 and best practices.• Understanding of Agile Methodologies and frameworks.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan/sales commission plan as well as comprehensive benefits.
