DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead all phases of Data Analytics and Product analytics life cycle. Formulate and drive BI/Data Analytics strategy and build structure. Hire, train, and mentor a team of high performing data analysts and data scientist and set the vision, mission and culture of the team to ensure employees are successful. Create and execute on analytics and product roadmaps, which drive the product strategy towards stated goals. Create effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure expectations are set and deliverables met as per agreed timelines. Perform systems analysis and translate results into business insights, and develop and conduct strategic product analyses. Design, execute, analyze and report on enterprise A/B or multi-variate experiments. Translate business information needs into the most efficient and effective analysis plan. Perform the data analysis by applying mathematical and statistical methods. Use computer programming tools and software for computation, processing and representation of results through charts and tables with deduction and reasoning. Extract, transform and move the data to perform the analysis by accessing various software systems and databases. Translate analytical results to insights that facilitate decision-making. Communicate product updates, which drive strategic value to Senior Leadership. Engage with key stakeholders to design and implement a robust BI roadmap, including data architecture, data governance, master data management, BI environment, and tools. Partner with multiple stakeholders to evaluate business performance and make optimization recommendations. Develop AI/ML models to solve business challenges which provide new sources of revenue and/or save on cost.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Math, or related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as Quantitative Analytics Director, Business Intelligence Manager/Analyst, Payment Analytics Manager, IT Consultant, Data Scientist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 10 years of experience with the following: Tableau; Omniture Site Catalyst to build dashboards, reports and automate alerts; Leveraging excel for statistical analysis; SQL Assistant; Computer programing languages, including SQL, Python, and R; Analytics Roadmap; Large data manipulation; Opportunity sizing; Funnel analysis; T-test, including formulating hypothesis, designing experiments and performing statistical analysis to derive incremental value of products and features; Data warehousing for both RDBMS and noSQL DBs; Data Tag management; Machine Learning; Artificial Intelligence algorithms (AI), including Decision Tree, Random forest, Regressions, K-means clustering, XGBoost, K-nearest neighbor and Feedforward NN; Financial Analysis, including building financial forecasting models for investment buy-in and ROI analysis; Team Management; Automation; Waterfall methodology; Benchmarking Process; Competitive Analysis; Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Development; Clickstream Analytics (Web Analytics); Java; Building data products and data sets with XML; and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position also requires 5 years of experience with the following: Amplitude; Building LookXML datasets for looker dashboards; SQL Workbench; Product Management Roadmap; Contextual Multi-Arm Bandit Experimentation; Multivariant Testing experimentation; Data management and analytics to comply with ISO 8583, including analyzing transactions and derive insights.
Job Location: 3223 Hanover Street, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $300,000 - $300,000 per year.
