Dispel is looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure our engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality.
We’re looking for professionals with 5 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance or a closely related field, who are adept at upholding product quality, meeting deadlines, and navigating complex challenges. At Dispel, quality assurance is pivotal—it’s about advocating for the highest standards, tackling various challenges, and thriving in an environment of continuous growth and learning.
In this role, not only will you spearhead our engineering team's QA processes—from devising and enforcing testing strategies to overseeing test execution and monitoring results—but you will also actively engage in hands-on testing.

Location
Fully remote.
Salary
$104,550 - $123,000.
*Salary is dependent on the location you reside in.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, demonstrating the ability to lead quality-focused initiatives and directly engage in testing activities.
- Establish and communicate product quality metrics, both general and project-specific.
- Prioritize defect backlogs to focus engineering efforts on issues significantly impacting user experience.
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate quality assessment practices throughout the product lifecycle.
- Expertise in creating detailed test cases from product specifications, executing these tests, and managing the overall testing lifecycle.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in fostering a collaborative, efficient work environment aimed at achieving common goals, with a keen emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction through the delivery of customer-centric solutions.
Extra Credit
- Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or similar.
- Experience leading QA teams for SaaS platforms and API testing
- Experience with quality management software, such as JIRA, Tuskr, Playwright, Selenium, or TestRail.
- Experience with specific technologies and product types, such as SaaS platforms, API development and testing, and networking-intensive solutions.
