We are looking for a motivated individual who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, production excellence, collaborative mindset and passion for great storytelling that defines ILM Immersive.
Quality Assurance Analysts are responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our immersive experiences by implementing test plans, executing test cases and scripts, and tracking/documenting software and product features and flaws.
What You'll Do

  • Perform build verification testing; regression testing; and general testing for quality & performance.
  • Work directly with the development teams.
  • Assist in the refinement and improvements of test procedures and test plans.
  • Provide assistance to Designers and Engineers, regarding game-play and game-balance analysis.
  • Identify and report defects and deficiencies to maintain a high quality level with our products.
  • Test and verify quality of software and internal tools.


What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience as a QA Analyst / Game Tester in the game industry or related field
  • Ability to follow rigorous quality assurance processes.
  • Thorough understanding of the importance of QA and testing.
  • Ability to evaluate and develop complicated processes and suggest improvements effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA or equivalent bug/issue tracking software tools.
  • Industry experience in production, QA, or software development.
  • PC, Console (PlayStation, XBOX, etc.) game testing experience.
  • Past experience testing mobile games (iOS/Anroid, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision while still maintaining productivity.
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Bonus points for:
    • Experience testing mobile hardware devices, VR, and/or network connectivity.
    • Previous experience with Unreal Engine.


The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $59,900 to $80,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
