We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our team to provide a central point of coordination and project management for system installations at customer sites. The individual will own the Operations project plan for the Support Team and Install Teams.
The ideal candidate will also develop and support project management practices, enabling us to closely coordinate and have visibility to all the contributing details that result in successful deployments and support of our systems. In addition, this position will ensure that SOWs are successfully executed from contract sign to go-live.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the Sales and Product Teams to understand customer needs
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools
- Manage project budgets and track project expenses
- Manage a team of technicians, subcontractors and other personnel involved in projects while facilitating clear communication with the client
- Schedule and manage project meetings to track project execution
- Coordinate logistics and schedule the delivery and installation of Ambi’s systems
- Participate in the installation process on-site at customer facilities
- Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance procedures
- Complete project documentation and ensure project deliverables are met
- Manage project handover to the customer Operations Teams and Ambi’s Support Team
You are a good fit if you have:
- 3+ years proven experience in project management, preferably within the automation, or warehousing industry
- Eagerness to learn, solve challenging problems, and lead with curiosity
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Budget management and cost control expertise
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Asana)
- Hands-on experience with 2D design software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to visit customer sites and participate in installations
- Eagerness to participate in installation activities (hands-on experience with basic tools)
- (BONUS) PMP certification
- (BONUS) Safety, compliance, and/or risk assessment experience
