Overview:

The Global Project Manager is a key role responsible for oversight and delivery of training products, their evolution and development and go to market routine. The role sits within the product team, working across 3rd party partners roadmaps as well as our own proprietary products, ensuring products are kept current against market demand and released with the right collateral to support sales.   

Responsibilities:

  • Project management: the role holder must be comfortable managing competing priorities, managing issues across the business and taking corrective action that results in products being released on time.
  • Own the Go-to-Market (GTM) routine for all product releases. Ensure GTM collateral such as sales tools, sales pitch concepts, objection handling and customer personas are produced and deployed as part of product release. Drive and maintain the GK product roadmap.
  • Execution and Innovation: Drive product innovation and enhancements that align with market needs and create differentiation, leveraging insights from industry trends with a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and competitor analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and technology teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Communication: The role holder must have strong communication skills and be able to work with stakeholders globally, in a visible and global role.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including OEM vendors, partners, suppliers, and channel partners in the satisfaction of market needs and strengthening GK’s market leadership position.

As an indicator of impact and success, this role will be measured on metrics such as:

  • Release management: adhering to an agreed release timetable of products, ensuring any changes are understood and communicated appropriately.
  • Cost management: Ensure products are developed to the agreed budgets as well as delivered on time, managing issues and risks to this accordingly.
  • Monitor and manage the mix of 3rd party/GK IP, ensuring we deliver an appropriate mix that maintains profit margins.
  • Profitability: Ensuring we have products that meet the commercial requirements of the business.
  • SKU reduction; removing the least popular products from our portfolio.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Project Management Experience: able to manage competing priorities, set your own priorities and deliver against a plan.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Effective in working with diverse teams, including marketing, sales, and technology, to achieve business results.
  • Portfolio Management Expertise: Deep experience in product lifecycle management, with a focus on learning and certification products, driving growth and meeting customer needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in learning, certification, or professional services with an expertise toward technology and its associated fields.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to develop clear, actionable strategies using data-driven insights.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $86,000 to $108,000 annualized.
We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. 

The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
