Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Program Manager for our Pricing team to lead analytical and operational processes. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business by managing key data, streamlining projects and processes, and supporting cross-functional pricing initiatives. The position will work closely with engineering, product marketers, and finance managers to optimize analytical and operational functions. Candidates are expected to be proficient in a highly cross collaborative environment, be extremely detailed oriented and willing to be hands on. You will need to have the ability to interact in a partner ecosystem involving numerous tech partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) to set forth pricing strategy, packaging, and develop new commercial opportunities. We would expect experience in building API pricing strategies that deliver value to technical partners such as ISVs, SIs, OEMs and customers.  Deep understanding of the costs to develop and market solutions, costs to serve customers, and ability to learn the competitive dynamics in the market. This role will represent the Pricing and Packaging team across a multitude of stakeholders with time sensitive requests.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead the execution of price changes, ensuring alignment of business objectives with minimal disruption to customers subscribed with data products or services.
  • Partner with product marketers, sales, and marketing teams to develop and execute GTM plans that communicate pricing changes effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing execution workflows and enhance efficiency across pricing, billing, marketing and engineering. Drive automation where possible.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Monitor and update commercial price lists.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to key pricing and business metrics.
  • Conduct pricing analytics to help capture opportunities, reduce pricing leakage, and improve sales force effectiveness.
  • Prepare pricing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc pricing analysis as needed to support business decisions

Team Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and compliance with price changes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational inquiries and requests in the Pricing and Packaging team supporting data products
  • Support the team in maintaining a well-organized and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in pricing operations, or GTM execution in a data-driven role, such as SaaS, technology, or automotive industry.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize data and insights to drive strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.  
  • Ability to tactfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be timely and accurate in written and verbal responses in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or a closely related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with analytical and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos
  • Previous experience working with APIs and data products in a SaaS company
  • Comfortable learning new systems and has history of self-servicing on running reports.

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
