Guideline aims to give everyone a better future by making it easy (and enjoyable!) to save for retirement. We’re disrupting an industry that hasn’t seen innovation in over 40 years—an industry that’s left small businesses and a changing workforce behind.

Guideline is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing 401(k) Product team

As a Senior Product Manager (PM), you'll define and execute the product strategy for key areas of the 401(k) business, focusing on both improving the existing user experience and adding new features. You'll analyze data and customer feedback to communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders. Working closely with development and design teams, you'll prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centered products that align with business goals and help Americans achieve secure retirements.

What You Will Work On

  • Establish the product vision and strategy for your product area, that aligns with the broader 401(k) and company vision
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend user and business requirements, transforming them into actionable and impactful roadmaps that empower developers to execute confidently
  • Set KPIs and measurement baselines to ensure your product is moving in the right direction for user and business health
  • Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams while approaching opportunities with an emphasis on scalable growth
  • Manage the full lifecycle of your product from ideation to launching

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in Product Management; background in fintech, regtech, or HR-tech a plus
  • Track record of delivering results that elevate the user experience while delivering business value
  • Ability to empathize with customers and turn their pain points into opportunities for improvements
  • Strong interpersonal & comms skills; you will be working with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and balance the needs of today with strategic long term goals

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, 401(k) to join our growing Product team. As a Senior Product Manager, 401(k) you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for existing and future product offerings, analyzing data and customer feedback, and communicating the product vision and roadmap to cross functional stakeholders. Additionally, you will work closely with the development and design teams to prioritize and manage the backlog, and ensure the team is delivering high-quality, user-centered products that meet business goals and customer needs.
