Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and driven Product Marketing Manager to join our team in a remote position based in the United States.

As the Product Marketing Manager for a combination of Revalize transactional (e-commerce) and complex engineering (PLM) products, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy, positioning, and promotion of products sold through direct sellers and our online store, ensuring the online store’s offerings are presented in a compelling, customer-centric way. You will focus on driving traffic, increasing conversions, and enhancing the customer experience on the e-store to drive new business growth and seamless retention for relevant Revalize products.

Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Analyze data from the e-store, customer feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Understand the target audience’s behaviors, preferences, and pain points to tailor marketing efforts.

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Work closely with product teams to create clear, consistent, and engaging content that communicates the benefits and differentiators of products and resonates with the target audience.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Plan and execute product launches for new features or offerings in the e-store
  • Work with key marketing functions to develop integrated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, and content marketing plans.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign timelines and messaging.

PLM Industry Alignment:

  • Define ideal customer profiles within discrete manufacturing, food and beverage, and other industry verticals to inform PLM and ecommerce product roadmaps
  • Identify industry associations, events, sponsorships, and publications to support marketing activities across verticals
  • Develop positioning, packaging, and pricing for vertical bundles within ecommerce and PLM product lines

E-commerce Optimization

  • Collaborate with the web development and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience in the e-store.
  • Optimize product pages, including images, descriptions, pricing, and call-to-action buttons, for conversions.
  • Leverage A/B testing to continuously improve the website and product listings for better performance.

Sales and Conversion Optimization

  • Work to increase conversion rates on product pages and drive sales through promotional activities and targeted campaigns.
  • Monitor sales data and identify areas for improvement in the marketing funnel.
  • Leverage customer reviews, ratings, and testimonials to enhance product credibility and trust.

Performance Reporting

  • Track and report on the success of product marketing initiatives, providing insights into what’s working and areas for improvement.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the product marketing budget for the e-store, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering software, ecommerce workflows, preferably with SaaS solutions
  • Experience executing go-to-market strategies, product launches, and marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to define product value propositions, differentiators, and key messaging to target audiences.
  • Ability to conduct relevant market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and strategies.
  • Understanding of the online buying journey and how best to drive demand and conversion
  • Ability to execute at scale and at pace in a complex, fast-moving business
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment
