The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate technical product capabilities into compelling value propositions for our target audience of SREs, developers, and DevOps engineers. This individual must also be comfortable with hands-on execution, working collaboratively with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive adoption and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the overall product marketing strategy aligning with the company's business objectives and target market.
  • Define and articulate clear and compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for Mezmo's products.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of our target audience (SREs, developers, DevOps engineers) related to log management, telemetry data, observability costs, and incident resolution.
  • Lead and create compelling marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, white papers, case studies, presentations, and videos that articulate Mezmo’s unique advantages.
  • Lead and implement product launches and go-to-market activities, ensuring effective communication and adoption of new features and products.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of Mezmo's free trial, developing campaigns and content to encourage SREs and developers to experience the platform's benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with the go-to-market teams to develop sales enablement materials and training that effectively communicate the value of Mezmo's products.
  • Work with the demand generation team to develop and execute campaigns that drive qualified leads for Mezmo's solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, understand customer needs, and inform product strategy and messaging.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and improve results.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms used by our target audience.
  • Optimize website content, including product pages, blog posts, and resources, to improve search engine visibility and attract relevant users interested in solutions for log management, telemetry pipelines, data optimization, and cost control.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a significant portion in the B2B SaaS space, ideally within observability, DevOps, or data management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market adoption
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages that resonate with technical buyers.
  • Experience developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Strong content creation skills, with a demonstrated ability to write engaging and informative content for a technical audience.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and tools, with demonstrated experience in improving organic search rankings and driving qualified traffic
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A data-driven mindset with a focus on measuring and improving the impact of marketing activities

Mezmo's Telemetry Pipeline makes it easier to understand data, optimize data to control costs, and respond quickly to make data-driven decisions. Applying data engineering principles, Mezmo helps organizations gain confidence in their telemetry data and extract business value from it. Organizations can centralize data from various sources via Mezmo’s open platform. Data profiling helps understand the data before it is optimized by applying out-of-the-box and custom processors to transform data and route it to the desired destinations for further analysis. With the Mezmo Telemetry Pipeline, enterprises can rapidly respond to any incident or data changes. This empowers teams to make faster decisions, all while controlling data costs.

Customers love the Mezmo platform's speed, ease of use, and ability to scale. The platform gives customers flexibility, regardless of the other tools they use in their observability and security stacks
